Who's responsible

Persian Punks LLC, a Texas limited liability company, runs persianpunks.ai and the Persian Punks shop. Questions or requests: [email protected].

What we collect

When you buy merch (via Shopify checkout): name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number (if given), what you bought, and order history. Payment is processed by Shopify and its payment partners; we never see or store your full card number.

When you contact us or apply for a kitten: the info you send us by email, Instagram DM or our contact form, such as your name, email, phone, where you live (we sell kittens to Texas residents only), your home situation and your experience with cats. Our contact form opens your own email app, so the message goes to us as a normal email.

Automatically, when you browse: like most sites, our host and the services we embed see basic technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and timestamps.

Meme Editor: images you upload are processed in your browser and aren't sent to us.

How we use it

• Process, fulfill, ship and support your orders (including misprint and damage claims)
• Answer messages, review kitten applications, manage the waitlist, and keep in touch after pickup
• Keep the site secure, working and fast
• Meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run things:

• Shopify: store, checkout, payments, order emails (Shopify Privacy Policy)
• Printful: prints and ships your order, so it gets your name, shipping address and order details (Printful Privacy Policy)
• Shipping carriers (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL): to deliver your package
• Cloudflare: hosts the site and protects it from attacks; it processes technical data like IP addresses
• Google Fonts: our fonts load from Google, which sees your IP address and browser info
• Proton: our email provider, which stores the emails you send us
• Instagram (Meta): if you DM us or click through to our Instagram, Meta's policies apply

We may also disclose info if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.

Cookies & similar tech

Our own pages don't run analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we'll update this policy first. The Shopify Buy Button on our shop page and the Shopify checkout use cookies and local storage to run your cart and checkout. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies for security. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, but the cart may stop working.

How long we keep it

• Order records: as long as needed for tax and accounting (generally 7 years)
• Kitten applications & waitlist info: while you're on the waitlist, plus 2 years after your last contact or pickup
• Messages: as long as the conversation is useful, then deleted

Your choices & rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example Texas, California, or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them as the law requires. We'll verify the request is really you before acting on it, and you can appeal a decision by replying to our response. We won't discriminate against you for using your rights.

Kids

The site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their info. Kitten buyers must be adults (18+).

Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards, but no system is 100% secure. If something goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date. Big changes get a heads-up on the site.
